If you saw my last Closet Confidential episode you already know I’m big on white (and camel!) for fall & winter.
I will say it to my grave, but one of my favorite ways to freshen up a look or a wardrobe is to swap out the usual black for a lighter neutral. It’s a super easy switch to make and the impact is major, I promise!
Ready to bust out your winter white denim? Here are two cute and easy ideas for anyone, even the most serious black-jean devotee!
First, white overalls! No I will not shut up about overalls. I know some people are on the fence but they’re really just another way to wear denim. Especially in white, they’re more special and statement-y than your typical pair of jeans yet are still casual.
Toss on a long sleeve turtleneck bodysuit and ta da! Here’s an outfit you can wear pretty much anywhere, including coffee runs lol. I did a brocade bootie but this works with sneakers, flats, heels, you name it.
The other easy swap you should be doing? Trade your black skinny jeans for white skinnies!
White looks great paired with camel (have you heard?). This faux shearling moto jacket is great for fall (I’ll swap in my robe coat once the temps drop) and you can’t go wrong with leopard flats. A cool graphic tshirt keeps everything cute and casual.
Both of these looks would be fine in black denim… but I think they’re so much better in white! Let me know if you try em 🙂
